Jessy Mendiola happily shared a photo of her with her Dad a week ahead of Father’s Day. On Instagram last Sunday, June 11, Jessy recalled that it has been four years since they last spent time together.
TV host Luis Manzano, Jessy’s current boyfriend, reacted and made a comment on the actress’ post with several heart emoticons.
It will be recalled that back in 2014, Jessy was filled with emotions in the said overdue reunion she had with her Dad after 14 years of not seeing each other after father left for Bahrain. She was barely about 7 years old at the time her father left.
Jessy remembers being emotional when she met her father again. During the reunion, Jessy said, “I couldn’t help but cry when I saw him again. No words can explain how much I missed my Papa. When he saw me, he just hugged me so tight, I couldn’t breathe. First words that came out of his mouth was ‘My Princess’ and that was it, I lost it.”
