Arnold Vegafria, business manager of Sen. Manny Pacquiao and Dino Laurena, ABS-CBN head of Integrated Sports, signed a deal today (June 9) on ABS-CBN’s acquisition of the exclusive pay broadcast rights of the “Pacquiao-Horn” fight for the Philippines.
ABS-CBN is now the exclusive seller of all pay broadcast rights for pay television, cable, satellite, pay-per-view, video-on-demand, internet and mobile telecommunications for the Philippines.
Pacquiao is scheduled to fight Horn on July 2’s “Battle of Brisbane” in Queensland, Australia for the WBO Welterweight championship.
Present during the signing were Pacquiao’s legal counsel Atty. Ildebrando Viernesto, ABS-CBN legal counsel Atty. Jean Paul Acut, and ALV Events International, Inc. chief finance officer Zaldy Francia.
