Jessy Mendiola gives clarity to rumors spreading that she got axed from the Sunday Kapamilya gag show “Banana Sundae” due to rift with its wardrobe assistant.
She did not deny that she had a misunderstanding with the unidentified staff but Jessy clarified that she was not removed because of that.
According to reports, Jessy was forced to wear an outfit that she finds uncomfortable and “too sexy.” She also denied this issue but did not say what the rift was really about.
“Sexy? Ha? E, sexy nga ang suot ko dito sa ASAP, tapos ang sayaw pa namin dun sa mga side-side.”
Jessy explains that it was later on settled.
“I felt bad for a while, kasi I don’t want to tolerate that kind of attitude.
“Pero ganun talaga, e.
“Siguro that’s the way he or she is to other people.”
Jessy added that her boyfriend Luis Manzano tried to help her fix things with the wardrobe assistant because they’re good friends.
“Oo, nag-sorry siya, nag-explain siya, nag-explain ako so hayun, okay naman.
“Luis? Kasi close sila, kasi siyempre napi-feel bad siya pag may ganun.”
She also expressed her gratitude for the “Banana Sundae” family, admitting that she feels slightly bad for going. Jessy cited that she learned a lot from the show.
“Tumagal din ako sa Banana Sundae, ang dami kong natutunan, nag-enjoy akong magpatawa, mababait sila, sobrang family talaga sila.”
