Victory in Austria: Acapellago wins Grand Prize in Vokal Total 2017

  • Acapellago wins three major prizes, including 1st prize, over all champion and Audience Award.

Filipino contemporary A Capella group Acapellago once again brought pride to the Philippines when they grabbed all three top prizes at the recently concluded Vokal Total 2017 held in Graz, Austria from July 17 to 21.

After singing four songs in the pop category, Acapellago snatched the Gold Prize in their category, as well as the Audience Award and the Ward Single Award (1st prize, over all champion).

Vokal Total is an international A Capella Competition held annually in Graz, Austria as part of a larger choir festival. Acapellago is one of the two Asian countries competing.

In 2016, Acapellago won the Asia-Pacific A Capella Championship League held in singapore. In 2015, they won in the International category of the A capella championship in Sinagapore. The group is also a two-time grand Champion of Akapela Open, a contemporary a capella competition organized by PLDT-Smart foundation and Ryan Cayabyab.

Composed of Mitch, Joshua, Almond, Bogart and Happy, Acapellago is under the management of Viva Entertainment.
