Coco Martin shares thoughts about “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s” ending

  • Kapamilya hit teleserye ‘Ang Probinsyano’ has been on air since September 2015.
  • From its pilot episode until this day, the teleserye continues to enjoy high ratings.

“FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano”, on its 100th week, recently hosted a thanksgiving-slash-press conference dinner at Le Reve. Running for almost two years now, the teleserye has received numerous awards proving its superb story line and impactful messaging.

But as the old saying goes, “all good things must come to an end”.

Hence, it was inevitable for the question to pop out during the presscon. How much longer is ‘Ang Probinsyano’ going to be aired? When will the teleserye come to a close?

To which, the lead actor, Coco Martin gave a simple but very meaningful answer.

“Hindi natin masabi. Napakataas pa ng ratings namin, umaabot sa 46.7% sa Kantar Media. Kapag bumaba na ang rating namin at naramdaman naming pagod at sawa na ang viewers sa amin, dun lang kami titigil”, the actor tells the press.

True enough, despite its twists and turns – the teleserye continues to garner positive feedback from viewers. Looks like we won’t be saying good bye to “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” any time soon!
