“Eat Bulaga” mainstay Joey de Leon reacted to Vice Ganda’s joke during the ‘Miss Q and A’ segment of “It’s Showtime” on August 7.
Last August 7, Vice Ganda became a trending topic when he cracked a joke on “It’s Showtime’s” ‘Miss Q and A’ segment about talents of GMA Network transferring to ABS-CBN. Using the former tagline of GMA Network when it was still called the rainbow network, Vice Ganda asked a contestant: “Kung sinasabing ang GMA ay ‘Where you belong,’ ba’t sila naglilipatan?” Afterwards, the comedian-TV host said that it was only a joke.
On Monday (August 21), Joey tweeted, “We don’t care where we belong. Ang iniintindi namin ay TO BE LONG! Or TO BE THE LONGEST! @EatBulaga @michaelbitoygma”
Dabarkads Michael V. agreed on Joey’s statement, “Sabi nga ng millenials… TOMOOO!”
Meanwhile, Joey also posted, “Wala pa pala kaming kabuhay-buhay nung lagay na yun dahil LIFE BEGINS AT 40! @EatBulaga”
Joey has been actively defending and tweeting about “Eat Bulaga’s” kalye-serye since it became a hit. He was also known for posting controversial remarks during AlDub’s reign, some of those were thrown to shade to Vice Ganda.
