Luis Manzano finally cleared the air during his interview with Boy Abunda. Speculations have been going around that Luis was offended by Alex Gonzaga after the actress teased Luis about buying his award.
During the 33rd Star Awards for Movies, Luis was awarded as the ‘Darling of the Press’.
His friend, Alex Gonzaga joked ‘Magkano mo nabili yang award mo?’. Given the occasion, the joke was undoubtedly off. Despite this, Luis clarified that it was their usual friendly banter.
“Anyone who have seen me and Alex, pag magkasama kami, ang lokohan grabe talaga,” explained that actor.
Luis also apologized to everyone who may have been offended by the joke. According to Luis, it was not their intention to offend anyone.
Alex Gonzaga has yet to comment about the matter.
Nonetheless, Luis reiterated that Alex meant no harm.
