Expect a day of genuine fun and laughter as Alabang-based learning center, Kid’s First Discovery Space is set to hold a day of action-packed, exciting activities to celebrate the tenth year of its program that provides early childhood intervention for children with special needs.  Kid’s First advocates for the inclusion of all children in our classrooms and in our community.

Kid’s First’s “One Fun Day: A Family Day of Festivities for All Abilities” will take place at the Cuenca Covered Court in Ayala, Alabang on Oct 21, Saturday from 8am to 12 noon. It will feature special lessons on hip hop dancing, taekwondo, futsal, yoga, and circuit training. An area will also be dedicated for sand play, giant board games, kite flying, and many more!

“It’s going to be a day that’s dedicated for all kids and their families. This non-competitive, fully inclusive event is for everyone – people of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate. It could be an opportunity for the kids to enjoy activities without fears and worries. No winners and no losers.  Just simply a day of fun,“ says Kid’s First educational administrator, Vanessa Morales-Balquiedra.

“And since we’re celebrating ten strong years of the center’s Kid’s First Early Childhood Intervention Foundation, all eyes are on all our students who will show us that differences in abilities are not a hindrance to creating strong bonds of friendship and that everyone can join in the activities. Watch them participate actively in non-competitive games and sports, and you’ll realize how talented, outstanding, and adorable they are. It’s testament to their ability to become fully participating and contributing members of our community,” according to Jennifer Teves-Manalo, Early Childhood Intervention Coordinator of Kid’s First.

Kid’s First hopes to send out a clear message that ALL kids with various talents and capabilities can develop positively and interact harmoniously with one another.  Come and bring your kids at this fun-filled event. Ticket price is at: P500 for a single entry inclusive of entrance fee, snacks, and a loot bag; or avail of a discounted price of P1,000 for a family of three.

One Fun Day is organized to help raise awareness and advocate for inclusion of all children with different abilities in various communities. Proceeds of this event will go to the community-based rehabilitation program of the University of the Philippines-Manila College of Allied Medical Professions (UPM CAMP) and the Tulay ng Kabataan Foundation, Inc (ANAK-TnK). For more information, you may contact Ces of Kid’s First Discovery Space at (02) 556-3887; 0917-8338983 or email kidsfirsteci@gmail.com.

Kid’s First is located at the G/F of Venture Bldg., Market cor. Prime Streets, Madrigal Business Park in Muntinlupa City.
