Manila, Philippines (October 3, 2017) – The 11th Star Magic Ball gathered over 300 of the country’s biggest and up and coming celebrities last September 30, 2017 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel. As a night that celebrates glitz and glamour, the event began with the guests showing off their stunning and stylish gowns and suits at the red carpet.
The magical night was capped off with star-studded selfies, captured by the new OPPO F5 which will be officially launched in the Philippines on October 26, 2017. OPPO ambassadors Julia Barretto, Joshua Garcia, Coleen Garcia, Robi Domingo, Gretchen Ho, Ronnie Alonte, and Matteo Guidicelli gave their fans a sneak peek of the smartphone on their social media accounts, beginning from their preparations up to the actual event. Star Patrol anchor Gretchen Fullido captured all the live updates and candid moments at the red carpet.
Aside from the outfits, fans tuned in for the celebrities’ best moments during the ball as different sets of special awards were given. Awarded as the OPPO Couple of the Night are real life sweethearts Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola.
Apart from the star-studded gathering, the Star Magic Ball also paid tribute to its father, Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan, through various production numbers and special recognitions, and to the Bantay Bata Foundation.
