MOVIE REVIEW: “12” is emotionally-charged and has aesthetic learning curves

The movie is more than just an ensemble of generic and romantic formula. Written by Alessandra de Rossi herself, the movie “12” channelized everyone’s perception about love and relationship. It departs the thin and shallow abstraction about the quotidian yet the most crucial subject of humankind, “love.”

This movie teaches us that relationship is not about the attraction between a man and a woman. It is about a man and woman’s individuality blending together to form something deep and beautiful work of trust, caring and affection.

The abundant and chunky content of the movie tickles our realizations that love is defined as the growth and prime of two different human being bonded by strong and forceful feeling.

The movie is deep, hefty and momentously essential to watch. It reaches the deepest and the tiniest chords within our soul. It showcases intrepid representation of self love and self-actualization that are integral for everybody. It drives us to appreciate and understand the knots and manners of a relationship that made it extraordinary.

The clever and engaging change of frames’ color depending on the emotions requisition added honesty to the genuine intentions of its purpose. It was wonderfully made through the authenticity and unfeigned style of its own cinematic approach.

The spectacular performance of Alessandra de Rossi sufficed the demand of the roll and frame of every sequence. She brought the dignified acting into the substantial and depth of her character. Every words and every small gestures of Erika exudes a thick and tangled representation of lost and broken soul. The 33-year old actress shows abstract performance but in relatable chords of emotions that made every scene soused in perfection.

The subtle yet sufficient emotional bend of Alessandra for her futile and mislaid disposition as Erika is commendable in every thread and stitch. She deliberately sailed the viewer’s emotions and brought tears and laughters into one spectrum of appreciation and approval.

Meanwhile, Ivan Padilla is unsurprisingly a natural actor. He is monumental in terms of complementing vehement and forceful scenes into something mix of rough and suave. As the narcissistic and prideful Anton, he faultlessly reach the extent of awning with the demands and requirements of this masterpiece.

On the other hand, Ivan gracefully abuts the viewers’ hearts with some of his disarming scenes that made his character’s complexity and fuse.

The movie “12” is considerate in terms of understanding the forethought and its core. It is emotionally-charged and has its aesthetic learning curves. This is a masterpiece we all need to appreciate!

RATING: 8/10
