Asintado is another masterpiece which will air on January 15, Monday in Kapamilya Gold. Filled with action and revenge, Asintado stars Daytime Drama Queen Julia Montes with Shaina Magdayao, Paulo Avelino and Aljur Abrenica.
The said series tells a story about two sisters who survived a tragic fire accident which killed their parents. They separated after Samantha gets adopted by a wealthy family. Ana goes on to chase her older sister but collapses into the arms of a man who later takes her in.
Julia plays Ana, a rescue team member. She tries to work extra hard to give the family that adopted her the comfort they deserve. She doesn’t back out on the challenges she faces. Although, she still longs for her sister and still hopes to see her again.
Paulo plays Gael, the son of an influential family. He hired Ana as a personal nurse after she saved him from being trapped in a collapsed mine. They spend their time together and eventually falls in love with each other.
Shaina plays Samantha, a famous jeweler. She wants Gael, her ex-boyfriend, back. Samantha plots against Ana because of her extreme jealousy. She tries to kill her not knowing that Ana turned out to be her little sister. However, her plans don’t succeed because Ana remains alive and vengeful with the help of Xander.
Asintado will be Aljur’s first full-length project as Kapamilya. He plays Xander who later trains and fuels Ana’s anger. His reason for feeling vengeful and angry all the time remains a mystery.
One secret will remain: Samantha and Ana are sisters. They are, at the same time, rooting for each other’s death and still longing for each other’s presence. One question still stands: When will their hate and revenge towards each other last? Who will win their game of vengeance?
