The couple got married on Christmas day.
TV host and entertainment personality Tim Yap is now married to events director Javi Martinez in New York. The wedding ceremony last Christmas Day was intimate that it only involved four other people – the officiant, the events manager of Peninsula New York, and two witnesses.
The couple took to Instagram to express their happiness on their new milestone of their relationship.
“Got married in New York in a private ceremony with two witnesses and without a hashtag,” Tim captioned his post.
On the other hand, Javi described their wedding ceremony went perfectly romantic for the both of them.
“We got married on December 25th 2017, at The Peninsula New York. We planned this special and intimate moment together having so much fun building and creating new memories. The sun light bouncing on the buildings around -and the cold- made of this rooftop the perfect venue. Thank you to everyone who made this possible,” he said.
The couple chose their friend Marcel Crespo and Broadway star Lea Salonga to witness their union at the hotel rooftop. The Broadway star proudly shared the photo of the newlywed holding hands on her IG post.
Lea wrote, “Finally, I was given permission to post this!!! I was asked by Tim and Javi to be a witness at their wedding which would take place Christmas Day 2017, and I said yes. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Tim this happy. Congratulations to you both!!!”
Last January 2017, Tim proposed to Javi during his 40th birthday celebration.
