The Judy Ann Santos and Angelica Panganiban movie already earned more than ₱120 million in 20 days. The box-office earnings of the movie was announced by Star Cinema AdProm manager Mico del Rosario through his Instagram account.
The Star Cinema and IdeaFirst Company movie also stars JC de Vera and Joross Gamboa as the husbands of Judy Ann and Angelica’s characters. Directed by Jun Robles Lana, this drama-comedy film is graded A by the Cinema Evaluation Board.
One of the most-talked-about scenes in the movie is the seduction scene between Judy Ann and Joross, who plays her husband in the film.
Judy Ann’s character underwent breast enlargement surgery in order to seduce her husband. She posed provocatively while sipping wine in their garden area. When she turned around, her husband was shocked to see her boob job.
In an interview with PEP.ph, Direk Jun Lana revealed that Judy Ann actually drank wine on the set for the said scene.
“Talagang takot siya, e,” Direk Jun was quoted as saying by ABS-CBN News in an interview.
“When we were doing the film, takot talaga siya, nararamdaman ko. Nagtutulungan talaga kami.”
“Yung eksena lang sa swimming pool–I think I can now tell this story–bago namin kunan iyon, kailangan niya uminom, kailangan niya mag-wine. Nakadalawang baso siya ng wine.”
Direk Jun recalled: “Natatakot siya. Sinabi niya sa akin, ‘Kung gagawin ko ‘to, kailangan i-embrace ko, kasi kapag hindi, hindi maganda ang eksena.’ So sabi niya sa akin, ‘Bigyan mo ako ng ilang minuto, iinom ako!’ Nag-work naman!”
