Regine Velasquez-Alcasid currently hosts GMA Network’s newest singing contest The Clash. The said contest had their auditions in SM Skydome last March 17, Saturday.

When she’s not busy hosting for the said singing contest or attending as one of the screening committees, she also tries to make her fans happy and be an inspiration before they audition. She also recently reacted to Mark Bautista coming out as a bisexual.

Regine has also always become an inspiration for many singers during singing competitions. This, then, led to singers like Angeline Quinto, Morisette Amon, Jona Viray and many more. Regine also reacted

“Dahil ba matanda na ako? Hahahaha! Dahil ba ako na lang ang natitira na nakilala bilang kontesera? Well, siguro ganun talaga, dahil nung time naman namin, ang peg namin ay si Dulce (Amor Cruzata).”

Regine also expressed her gratitude that even though she has been in the showbiz industry very long, she can still receive projects like this. She also spoke about Mark who recently came out as bisexual. She added that she watched him in a singing contest which she also hosted. However, Regine felt as if her gay-dar didn’t work on Mark.

“Ang importante ay happy siya.”
