In a PANG-MASA article, Salve Asis wrote that Mark Bautista earned mixed reactions with his make-up clad face and his long hair. As of this writing, he had already deleted the said Instagram post. Mark also allegedly revealed his new look for a new upcoming project.
However, he didn’t mention what stage play, concert, movie or TV project it would be.
Many people expressed their support and happiness on Mark’s new look. However, he earned more hate comments from it. The harsh criticism may be the reason why he deleted the said photo. In an earlier report, Mark also admitted that he already prepared himself from people who would distance themselves away from him.
In an interview with 24 Oras, Mark shared that he feared isolation from people. Mark also understands that many wouldn’t favor what he did.
“Na-prepare ko rin ang sarili ko sa mga ganung bagay. Kasi, yun yung isa sa mga fears mo na kapag nilabas mo ito, marami talagang magdi-distance sa ‘yo. Maraming… alam mo yun, hindi pabor sa ‘yo. So, hinanda ko yung sarili ko doon. So I was prepared.”
