Ogie Alcasid recently joined the cast of Home Sweetie Home playing two big roles – he is both the brother and the sister.
The brother is Toni Gonzaga’s childhood friend who has a huge crush on her and decided to stay and become business partners after finding out that Toni’s husband, John Lloyd Cruz, is cheating abroad.
Apparently, before he could sign the partnership contract, his sister, who is also himself, came in and messed with the deal.
There is no doubt that Ogie engaged in a very difficult role by playing two different characters at once. However, his struggles were eased out with the assistance of her real-life wife, Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez.
During Regine’s interview with the entertainment blog, PEP.ph, she admitted that she took the pleasure in transforming her husband into his female role.
She lets his husband wear her dress and branded bags. She said, “Actually, yung production meron naman, meron naman silang clothes for him,” However, Ogie insisted that he likes to wear her clothes.
“Ako stylist niya, ako yung nagsa-style nun ha, pipiliin ko pa kung anong bag yung puwede. Pati mga bags, iiningatan naman daw niya,” Regine added.
Ogie Alcasid did what his wife asked. Regine had a fun time making over her husband and even posted their photo in social media wearing the same dress with the caption “Who wore it better?”
“Tawang-tawa lang ako sa idea na parehong damit yung sinusuot namin. Meron nga akong, ‘Who wore it better.’ At siya naman lagi nanalo. Minsan ako pero kalimitan siya,” says Regine.
