RK Bagatsing currently has projects after projects. However, this doesn’t sway him away from network transfer rumors. He used to star in Be My Lady in 2016 and Wildflower in 2017. He also currently stars in Precious Hearts: Araw Gabi in 2018.
In the press conference for Precious Hearts: Araw Gabi, RK expressed his gratitude in starring in another series.
“Nung pinitch sa akin yung role, I think may iba naman silang kinonsider na actors. I think kailangan nila na something na mapagkakatiwalaan na support para mas maging buo ang support. Kumuha na sila sa team ng Wildflower na feeling ko na-prove namin isa-isa ang kaya naming gawin dun sa show. Binigyan ako ng chance uli to showcase that.”
RK doesn’t know his “edge compared to other actors. He also added that he would be willing to work with new actors and directors. He doesn’t think that he has something that others doesn’t.
“Di ko alam, sabi ko nga lahat naman may commitment, may passion, may talent, may looks. It’s just that binibigay ko lang talaga ang lahat in terms of nandiyan na at hand and I willing to work with ny directors, willing to listen, willing to fill the holes or gaps dun sa character. I don’t think I have something na wala dun sa iba, it’s just that nabibigyan lang talaga ako ng pagkakataon and I’m thankful for that.”
RK never thought of transferring to GMA Network. However, he fully respects Sunshine Cruz and Wendell Ramos’ choice on accepting a project in the rival network.
“Di ko naiisip pero kay Ms. Shine at kay Wendell, I fully support them because they are breadwinnners. Si Ms. Shine sinusuportahan niya yung kids niya and si brother Wendell ay ganun din. We don’t know kung kailan tayo magkakaroon right after teleserye, maybe there’s something…they have some things they have to take care of, financially. Nakakausap ko naman sila and I think they all parted ways na okay. No hard feelings and I think babalik din sila. I fully support them pero ako I never entertained that thought kasi so far I’m thankful sa binibigay sa akin ng ABS-CBN.”
