Barbie Forteza rejoiced the positive feedback for Inday Will Always Love You. She portrays Happylou “Inday” Magtibay who went to Cebu for her job and also to meet her father.
Her performance as the very positive Happylou remains a big winner as viewers can’t seem to get enough of her perkiness.
Some viewers also compared Happylou to a modern-day Cinderella who knows how to fight. They also commended Barbie’s comedic chops in Inday Will Always Love You.
In a YouTube video Barbie posted in her own channel, she expressed her gratitude to the positive feedback from the audience. Barbie also explained that Happylou demonstrated her positive outlook in life.
“Salamat naman sa magagandang feedback na natatanggap namin from the audience. Lahat kami sa cast, we make an extra effort na mapaganda ang show. In interpreting my role as Happylou, malaking tulong ‘yung fact na masayahin naman talaga ako sa totoong buhay. Hindi ako ‘yung type na basta susuko agad sa problema o sa pang-aalipusta ng ibang tao. Dapat laging malakas ang fighting spirit natin at kapit lang tayo lagi kay Lord sa pagharap ng mga problema sa buhay.”
Barbie doesn’t know whether which leading man her character would end up with. Derrick Monasterio plays Patrick Altamira. Juancho Trivino plays the role of Ernest Pascual.
“Naku, malay ko ba sa isusulat na script. Pero hold on lang kayo kasi malayo pa naman ang tatakbuhin ng show namin. Babalik pa kaming lahat para mag-taping sa Cebu this week kaya abang-abang lang kayo sa latest na mga mangyayari sa buhay ni Happylou and her boylets.”
