“Contessa” was questioned by critics and it received several negative feedback regarding the story. People described it as a copycat of the epic classic novel and movie “The Count of Monte Cristo”. Glaiza de Castro’s role was also criticized due to its similarities in nature as to Maja Salvador’s “Wildflower.”

Despite all these, the series continued to roll and it’s TV ratings continued to grow. Sadly, it is about to end.

Glaiza said that she will take a much need vacation when the series comes to an end. Aside from the heavy drama, she also did some fighting scenes which took a toll on the actress.

Apart from de Castro’s series, “My Guitar Princess” already bowed down and next is “The Cure”.
