Barbie Imperial recently posted a series of “no to physical abuse” photos. Barbie’s fans point their fingers at her rumored ex-boyfriend Paul Salas as one of their suspects.
After the said posts, Kristoffer Martin took to Twitter to point out that there are two sides to the story. He is also known to be good friends with Paul. However, this brought netizens and Barbie’s fans to think that Kristoffer was victim-blaming.
Kristoffer’s series of misleading tweets
Kristoffer seemed to slam Barbie on posting the photos on Instagram. He also seemed to add that she shouldn’t have let the world know just to get sympathy.
“Wag dumating sa point na maninira ka ng buhay ng tao. Kung totoo man o hindi yung nangyari, problema niyo yan. Di kailangan ipaalam sa buong mundo para kumuha ng sympathy.”
Kristoffer also seemed to point out that he and Paul are in one circle. He emphasized in a post that Paul would never hurt Barbie.
“Wala ako sa lugar para ielaborate yung nangyari. Iisang circle kami. Pero nasa lugar ako maglabas ng saloobin kasi may nadedehado. HINDI SINAKTAN. At capslock para mapansin. Antayin niyo statement na lalabas. Tawanan ko kayo after”
In another tweet, Kristoffer also pointed out that there two sides of the story. He also seemed to have slammed those who are acting like a victim.
“There’s always two sides of the story. Mga naapektuhan wag pavictim.”
Kristoffer apologizes
After a few while, Kristoffer apologized and clarified his tweets. However, he didn’t know that people would take it a little far. He also added that he doesn’t tolerate physical abuse and he pointed out that this is not his story to tell.
“I see where people are coming from. Some took it a little far kaya lumaki. I DON’T TOLERATE PHYSICAL ABUSE. Sorry if na mislead yung iba. Ni girlfriend ko kahit kelan di ko naisipang saktan. Naapektuhan lang ako bilang kapatid. Not my story to tell. Again, sorry.”
Why a sudden change of mind?
A netizen also asked Kristoffer why he had a sudden change of mind, he answered that he calmed down and realized that he had posted a series of misleading tweets.
“Kasi nahimasmasan ako. And narealize ko na nakakamislead nga yung tweets ko. Pasensya po.”
Involvement of Kristoffer’s girlfriend
AC Banzon, Kristoffer’s girlfriend, also got involved in the war against him and Barbie’s fans. She also posted a tweet to slam those netizens who started to bash Kristoffer on defending Paul. However, she pointed out that she’s friends with Barbie, too.
“MASYADO NAMAN MAKAPAGSALITA YUNG MGA FANS NA WALA NAMAN ALAM SA TOTOONG NANGYARI. ATTACKING KRISTOFER?? WAIT LANG BAKA GUSTO NIYO ITANONG SI BARBIE SINO TINAKBUHAN NIYA NUNG ARAW NA YON. KAIBIGAN KO SI PAUL, KAIBIGAN KO DIN SI BIE. WAG KAYO MAGPAPANIWALA SA MGA NABABASA NIYO LANG”
AC also slammed these netizens for making conclusions on their own.
“Masyado kayong matatapang. Tsk. Wala sa lugar.”
AC laughed at the people who called her a “starlet.”
“Mas lalong ndi kmi takot sau..starlet ka lng”
She also noted that she’s not a celebrity and thanked the netizen for thinking she was.
“Hmmm wait. ‘Di ako artista. HAHAHAHAHAHA thanks for thinking. Char.”
AC also laughed at another netizen who promoted physical abuse against her.
