Janine Gutierrez started her intense parkour training for Kapuso epicserye Victor Magtanggol. She will portray Gwen Regalado, a field reporter. She observed Kapuso field reporters get an idea how they work and how to do their job.
Action scenes
In a report from 24 Oras, Janine revealed that it’s her dream to have action scenes in the series. She had always dreamed of having action scenes in a series.
“Pangarap ko din kasi talaga makapag-action na eksena. So, para lang panigurado. Siyempre makakasama pa rin ako dahil malaki ‘yung mga eksena sa show, eh. So, lahat ng tao madadamay sa malalaking gulo, mga action scenes.”
Andrea Torres as Lady Sif
Andrea Torres joined the cast as Norse goddess, Sif. In Norse mythology, she is the wife of Thor, a hammer-wielding god of thunder, lightning, storms, oak trees, strength, the protection of mankind, in addition to hallowing, and fertility.
In the story of Victor Magtanggol, Andrea’s character as Sif may be the one who would give Alden’s character Mjölnir, Thor’s trusty hammer.
In an Instagram post, Andrea showed off her costume and Sif’s trustee pet, Ratatoskr. In Norse mythology, Ratatoskr is a squirrel who usually runs up and down the world tree, Yggdrasil.
