Diego Loyzaga recently posted a photo of himself cutting off a dead branch. Netizens, however, thought that Diego was cutting down the tree and proceeded to lambast him.

In Diego’s Instagram post, he wrote that he is being a gardener for the day.

In the comments section, Diego clarified that he is just cutting down a branch so another one could grow.

Diego took it upon himself to explain that he was cutting down a branch so that a new one would grow to every netizen who inquired. Some raised a furor.
A netizen commented that it was probably easy for Diego cut down a tree. It was probably not a good idea for his followers to see.

Diego replied, “easy to comment. Not good when you dont know the context or reason… cant agree w you more. Thats why were taking advantage of the rain, pruning the tress for new foliage to grow. Not to mention were planting more trees”

Diego’s mom Teresa Loyzaga came to Diego’s rescue when a netizen pleaded Diego not to cut trees.
“Prunning lang and clean up. Taking advantage of the rain for new foliage. We have 9 Lansones, 12 guyabano, 7 avocados, about 30 langka and another 30 lychee trees to plant. Just 1 ipil-ipil had to go. Make room for more. We share your passion for trees. Thank you for your care.”
