Maine Mendoza and Paolo Ballesteros recently paid Pokwang a visit to her house to play with Pokwang’s very adorable Baby Malia.
Pokwang explained her connections with Paolo and Maine.
“Si Paolo kasi kapitbahay ko. Walking distance lang yung bahay niya from my house.
“At itong si Maine naman, kasi meron kaming common friend. Si Maine, natutuwa kay Malia. ‘Gusto kong makita si Malia, chu chu chu.’
“Di ba, ganun kasikat yung anak ko?”
Pokwang commented on Maine, “Sobra, napakasimpleng tao, napakabait.”
Baby Malia is one of the most popular celebrity babies today. In fact, countless celebrities already visited Pokwang’s house just to spend time with Baby Malia.
Malia’s father is Lee O’Brian. When Pokwang was asked if they’re expecting to tie the knot soon, she replied:
“Hindi ko alam e. Ngayon ini-enjoy namin yung bata, sobrang ini-enjoy namin.
“Mas priority namin muna… mas nag-iipon kasi kami for her, e. Mas dapat paghandaan yung future ng bata, financially.
“Siyempre gusto rin namin para buong-buo na yung pagkatao nung bata.
“Nagpapasalamat kami sa isa’t isa isang napakaganda, napakalusog, napakabait na bata.”
Pokwang is now back to work and she is confident that she can leave Baby Malia in the hands of her very kind babysitter.
The comedienne revealed that she has an upcoming TV series with MayWard and the story conference already commenced. She also has an upcoming indie film titled Searching for the ToFarm Festival. On top of that, she has a scheduled US Tour with Piolo Pascual this coming October 25 to November 7.
Lee will accompany Pokwang in the US and will bring Baby Malia along. While busy for the US Tour, Baby Malia will be under the care of Lee’s parents in the US. Pokwang said that Lee’s parents are more than excited to see Malia again.
