The festival’s Best Film and People’s Choice winners will be screened at the Marilyn Monroe Theater in Los Angeles, California. The said films will also represent Short+Sweet Manila in the International Competition with other entries across the globe.
Short+Sweet
According to founder and artistic director, Mark Cleary, this festival remains the biggest and best short format festival in the world. It is also the biggest 10-minute performing arts festival in the world with events in 30+ cities across 12 countries.
Short+Sweet also has presented over 5,000 original new works in Theater, Music and Dance since 2002. It has been presenting Short+Sweet Theater in Manila since 2014.
Rules and Terms
There are no limits for this film festival, other than your imagination. All films, however, must be five (5) to ten (10) minutes in length which should also include the credits. There is no restriction on the genre, style, or how the film is created. The film, however, must have the permission to use any images, story lines and music among others in the film.The film can also be in any languages or dialects, as long as it has English subtitles.
Awards and Prizes
All entries to Short+Sweet Film Festival will be screened in the Heats Competition which will happen on all Sunday evenings of August 2018. These awards also include:

– Best Director
– Best Actor
– Best Actress
– Best Cinematography
– Best Screenplay and
– People’s Choice Award
