Janno Gibbs just signed a contract with Star Music making him their newest recording artist.
The singer-actor’s first single under his new record label is called ‘Feeling JKL’ which will appeal to millennials.
“The title is ‘Feeling JKL’ meaning feeling JaDine, KathNiel, LizQuen. Aside from being a fan of these love teams, the song is about kapag kasama kita, I feel young,” says Janno of the song.
The singer admitted that in the past, he became complacent that he somehow neglected his singing career.
“This point in my career na kailangan ko naman to shake things up, you know fresh. Medyo naging comfortable ako lately. So, I need to shake things up,” he said.
Now that he’s back to the music industry, he is looking forward to performing with his old colleagues Ogie Alcasid and Jaya.
“Si Ogie kasama ko sa mga guesting, si Jaya I’ve seen her here. I missed them. ‘Pag nagkakausap kami, over the phone. Kahit sila, nagpo-post na we miss working together.
“More than 10 years kami magkakasama. So iba ang friendship kasi magkakaibigan kami. Pero ‘yung working together, we miss that, of course,” he shared.
If the rumor about Regine Velasquez transferring to the Kapamilya network is true, then GMA’s “SOP” singers might just make their reunion in ABS-CBN.
Janno Gibbs is open to doing acting projects.
