Kapuso actresses Mikee Quintos and Kate Valdez are both thankful for being part of the series “Onanay.”
The two young actresses admitted that they were nervous at first to work with seasoned artists such as Nora Aunor, Cherie Gil, and Gina Alajar.
Kate shared, “Noong magsisimula pa lang ang taping, we were both intimidated kasi puro magagaling ang co-stars namin like Nora Aunor, Cherie Gil and with Gina Alajar directing us.
“Paano kung lamunin na lang kami sa eksena?”
Apparently, they thought wrong. Mikee added, “It turned out puro sila mababait. Talagang tinutulungan kami para makaarte kami nang tama sa bawat eksena.”
There are speculations of a brewing rivalry between Mikee and Kate which both denied.
“Wala, wala pong ganun,” says Mikee. “Suportahan kaming lahat para sa ikagaganda ng show.”
Kate also commented, “Mikee and I are good friends noon pa mang ‘Encantadia’ days namin na siya si Lira at ako si Mira,” says Kate. “Happy nga kaming nagkasama kami uli sa isang show dito sa ‘Onanay’ na sana, magtagal sa ere.”
