Julie Anne San Jose is one of the Kapuso singers who have a huge following. In a press conference for the Kapuso concert of The Sweetheart and The Balladeer: Fun Night Only, Christian Bautista can’t help but admire the Asia’s Pop Sweetheart.

Bautista recalled San Jose channeling Beyonce in her performance of Formation in musical variety show, Studio 7. He detailed how a lot of younger performers look up to her.

“Sa Studio 7, all the girls look up to her. Remember that last taping na you did a Beyonce dance? You should have seen all the young girls at the back nakatingin sa TV screen na talagang ‘Wow I wanna be like Julie.’ So you are really leading the pack na for the channel. Pak na pak ka na talaga.”

Christian and Julie Anne are both thrilled in their upcoming concert.
San Jose noted how it would be a different concert experience as it will also feature comedic duo, Donita Nose and Super Tekla with Golden Cañedo and Josh Adornado.
“Hindi na rin po mahirap for us kasi parang in an instant, okay na, gets na namin ‘yung isa’t isa. Mas masaya po of course kasi nandito nga po si Donita ‘tsaka si Tekla, and of course si Golden ‘tsaka si Josh. We’re very, very excited about this show kasi hindi lang ito parang ‘yung kantahan pero may tawanan din siyempre.”
Bautista guaranteed that the concert will be more exciting.
“For the new year, for 2019, we’re making new combinations and kami ni Julie medyo alam na namin gagawin namin on stage but it’s gonna be more exciting again kasi nga for me our champion here Golden is gonna be with us and she’s gonna tour the Philippines and the world someday, Josh as well. And ‘yun ‘yung magbibigay talaga ng spice sa concert na ito. Simply because of DonEkla talaga. Sila ang magdadala ng fun sa gabing ito.”
