Two of the most glamorous television personalities Gretchen Barretto and Kris Aquino are still on feud, after the former sided with the Falcis brothers.
In an interview with DZMM, Gretchen opened up as to why she is taking part in the issue of Kris Aquino filing a case against the Falcis brothers. She stated that after the longest time, where Kris had the power to get everything she wanted, today is a different scenario. This time Kris Aquino is powerless, thus it is the right moment to give her reactions.
She said, “Kris is powerless.”
“This is the time I feel like I can react because for the longest time, she had the power and she did everything that she wanted.”
With netizens criticizing her, saying that she is just joining the controversy to be talked about. She honestly said that she is just being true to herself and that is to side on what is right, even if that person is her friend.

She added that this has nothing to do with her previous controversy with Kris, and she is just mainly reacting.
“You do something to me today, hindi ako magre-react ngayon. I may react many years later.”
It can be remembered that previously on February 23, Gretchen Barretto threw a Thanksgiving party, when the qualified theft case filed by Kris Aquino against former business manager Nicko Falcis was dismissed by the Makati city prosecutor’s office.
