The Barretto sisters went online to clarify the controversy that involved Claudine on an alleged debt she has to Jinkee Pacquiao. During the discussion, Gretchen surprisingly mentioned the name of columnist Lolit Solis.
It can be recalled that in a talk show, Lolit Solis and Cristy Fermin mentioned a rumor about the younger Barretto who was rumored to have owed money from Jinkee. Claudine denied the rumor and Manny Pacquiao‘s wife confirmed it. After the live stream, Solis posted a long statement on her Instagram account where she tried to calm Gretchen and not the former hero at the Manila Film Fest 1994 scam.
“Naku ha hindi ko kaya powers ni Gretchen Barretto Salve. Ano ang magagawa ng isang 72 years old powerless na senior citizen na tulad ko sa isang very powerful, mayaman at reyna ng kagandahan tulad ni Gretchen? “Siyempre ang manginig sa takot dahil hindi mo alam how far Gretchen will go sa threat niya sa isang powerless, moneyless old woman na tinatawag niyang Tota Lolit. “

Solis also noticed the word ‘Tota’ implying that Gretchen does have the humor to see her like a dog, this might be misspelled or was really intentional. Whatever the case may be Solis doesn’t mind it and reasoned that she loves dogs anyway.
“Cute ni Gretchen ha, hindi ko akalain kahit galit siya hindi nawawala ang wit niya para maisip ang Tota Lolit. At least, dahil dog lover ako, bagay sa akin.”
Solis added that she can’t do anything but just let life dictate her fate. Stating that what may be the consequences that Gretchen have in mind she would not be stressed about it for it will just affect her health because she’s old.
“Well, I cannot simply say SORRY dahil siyempre baka hindi niya tanggapin. So whatever Gretchen feels to do with a powerless, moneyless, old senior woman like me, tanggapin ko na lang. Kung saan puwede humantong galit niya, what can I do ?
