Claudine Barretto to make TV comeback with new ‘MMK’ episode

  • Claudine Barretto is having a comeback in ABS-CBN and will have her upcoming MMK episode with Jameson Blake
  • Former Star Magic talent is set to act again under the network’s premises after having her hiatus
  • Netizens expressed their excitement knowing that Claudine Barretto will again be shown on their television screens

Claudine Barretto tagged as the ‘Optimum Queen of Teleserye’ by ABS-CBN was one of the honorable titles that she received back in the days when she made television shows to its heights.

In September 2018, Claudine was reported to leave her former talent management Viva Entertainment, where she would have been joined in a reunion movie project with Mark Anthony Fernandez. But instead, they were replaced by Bella Padilla and Xian Lim due to Claudine’s exit.

On March 25, she was again spotted in the Star Magic compound, after the young star Kisses Delavin posted a photo of them together, specifically photographed at the Star Magic office at the ELJ Building of ABS-CBN.

Though the previous signs were not yet clear on Claudine’s return, this speculation has finally ended when screencaps of her taping with Jameson Blake in a taping for Kapamilya network’s drama anthology ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya’ was posted by a Jameson fan page on Twitter.

It was captioned, “Abangan si Jameson Blake at ang pagbabalik sa Kapamilya Network ng nag-iisang Optimum Star Ms. Claudine Barretto on “Maalaala Mo Kaya.” Soon!”

ABS-CBN was Claudine’s mother network when she started out in 1992 on the show ‘Ang TV.’ Being a Star Magic talent has brought her to the heights of her career in the showbiz industry.

It was in the 1997 drama series ‘Mula sa Puso,’ where she top-billed with Rico Yan and Diether Ocampo that she first got her big break.

This success was followed by ‘Saan Ka Man Naroroon’ (1999-2001), ‘Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan’ (2001-2003), ‘Marina’ (2004), ‘Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin’ (2005), ‘Walang Kapalit’ (2007), ‘Maligno’ (2008), and ‘Iisa Pa Lamang’ (2008).

However, in 2009, her career under the care of Star Magic has ended when she transferred to Viva Artists Agency and transferred to GMA Network and TV5.

In 2015, she made a comeback via an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya and was followed by a comeback movie ‘Etiquette for Mistresses’ under Star Cinema, which she gained the title of “Optimum Star” by the Kapamilya network.

Will this upcoming MMK exposure finally be her real comeback in the entertainment industry? Though this has not yet been officially announced, netizens already can’t wait for this to happen.

As of this time, there has still been no official announcement given by Claudine and the management regarding this matter.
