- Sofia Andres recently updated the public that her phone was stolen at the Manila Sundance Bazaar
- Sofia tried to trace who the suspect was and, accordingly, was able to, but the person whom she pointed at did not steal anything from the artist
- The netizen called out Sofia’s attention and lambasted her publicly for her inappropriate behavior
ABS-CBN talent Sofia Andres, after her recent misbehavior during the Manila Sundance Bazaar due to her phone being stolen, was, yet again, caught in a misunderstanding after a person, who she blamed for stealing her phone, lambasted her publicly online for her false accusation, and threatened to sue her if not proven guilty.
A netizen, named Pearl Morado, was the one who Sofia blamed for stealing. In a series of Twitter posts from Morado, she claimed that she has not done the crime. She also expressed her frustration against the artist for putting her family to public shame, even bringing her child into the situation by posting their photos.

This resulted in Morado to threaten Sofia, mentioning that she is going to file a case against the artist if it was proven that she wasn’t the suspect.
“anu ibblik ko? wala naman akong kinukuha.payag po ako magpaimbestiga about sa iphone nyo iprove nyo accusation nyo sakin. peru paghindi di nyo na prove, kakasuhan ko po kyo.”
Sofia, after being called out, posted an apology for the trouble she caused to Morado and her family. Though attached in her apology is doubt, as she shared a short video clip of her personal account being able to open Morado’s social media account.
” I just want to say I’m sorry to ms @MoradoPearl for the misunderstanding. It’s just weirding me out that I could actually open your Instagram account using my own Facebook. I don’t want to make this a big deal. I hope this vid will make you understand where am I coming from.”

This issue gained mixed reactions from netizens, where some sided with Sofia while others with Morado.
Sana po hindi niyo pinost agad kasi wala man lang siyang kalam-alam na pinagbibintangan na siya at pinagusapan na sa social media. Leason learned nalang po tayo.
