All their hardwork pays off as their series is gaining more views and public attention. It was a costly decision because GMA Network had to recreate a scenery for the whole Badjao village. They also did an immersion in Tawi- Tawi. The location was described as picturesque.

And the network is grateful for the high ratings their hit TV series, ‘Sahaya gained last Friday, May 3, 2019, against ‘The General’s Daughter’ with a NUTAM People Rating of 12.1% vs 11.7% lead in favor for the network’s show.
The rating of ‘Sahaya’ got even higher on the next episode May 6 with 13.5% while ‘The General’s Daughter’ lagged with 12.4%.
Just as the battle between the rival shows are getting more and more intense, Bianca, who plays the titular role, leaked to her followers what should be anticipated in the series.
The Kapuso actress announced that there will be a huge twist in the life of ‘Sahaya’ and on the run of the epic-drama series. Bianca stated, “Sana po abangan ng viewers kung paano magbabago si Sahaya. Kung gaano ka-drastic ang change na mangyayari sa kanya. Actually, this is my first show at character na may ganito kadaming layers.”
To add the spice up, GMA Drama gave the netizens a sneakpeak of a brewing romance between the lead star, Sahaya (Bianca Umali) and the rich kid, Jordan (Migo Adecer).
