Clint Bondad sees his personality ‘suited with’ GMA Network

  • Clint Bontad is now a certified Kapuso star
  • He is happy working with GMA Network and is looking forward to his new projects.
  • ‘Love You Two’ lead star Jennylyn Mercado influenced him to join the Kapuso family.

Clint Bontad officially joins Kapuso family as he inked his management contract with GMA Artist Center on Tuesday, May 7, together with the Assistant Vice President and Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing Unit Simoun Ferrer and co-manager John Brillantes.

The Filipino-German model (and former boyfriend of six years of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray) is grateful for his new ventures with GMA Network.

“I am very grateful to GMA for allowing me to be part of its growing family. I take it as an honor to finally be called a Kapuso,” Clint said.

“The atmosphere here in GMA is very light and happy, which suits my personality. When people believe in you, it’s a big push and it is easier to improve.”

Clint owed to Kapuso co-star Jennylyn Mercado for introducing him to GMA Network, “First time ko na meet siya [Jennylyn Mercado) sa Dear Uge ‘yun eh. It was around the end of 2018 and napansin ko na masaya magtrabaho sa GMA, parang bagay kasi ‘yung personality ko sa GMA.”

The actor has already appeared in some of the Kapuso shows including Unang Hirit and Sunday Pinasaya. Currently, he is part of the well-loved romantic comedy series Love You Two together with lead star Jennylyn Mercado and Gabby Concepcion.

Bondad looks forward to more exciting projects under the Network and to work with various Kapuso artists soon.

Meanwhile, Ferrer feels glad to officially welcome Clint into GMA AC’s roster of talents, “Clint has been a familiar face here. We’ve seen him on TV already and he is a promising actor with a lot of potential so we are excited to see what else he can do.”

The new Kapuso is set to star  in Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko and the upcoming film Kiko en Lala.
