World-class fashion designer Renee Salud, in tandem with Novotel Manila Araneta Center and JMG Infinity Events, teamed up with Bantay Bata 163 to nurture the Filipino children.
Curated Memories: A Wedding Story for the benefit of Bantay Bata 163 is set to unfold on April 27 to 28, 2019 at the Versailles Event tent.
The influential designer, “Mama Renee” as what people call him, will showcase his timeless signature wedding collection inspired by Filipiniana weaves and fabrics. Two elegant fashion shows will also unfold on the 28th of April 2019 at the Grand Ballroom of Novotel Manila.
In spite of his great success as being a fashion icon, Mama Renee had a colorful yet challenging past. There was a point in his life when he had to stop schooling so that his siblings could continue their study. He made so many sacrifices just to ensure that his family will be taken care of. With hard work, evident charisma and great talent, Mama Renee rose above the ranks.
More than showcasing the natural beauty, elegance and style of Filipinas, the fashion is a celebration of his sweet triumph and a chance to pay it forward, this time, to the children of Bantay Bata 163.
“Just like weddings which symbolize the start of a new life for the couple, your donation will also spark hope in the lives of numerous underprivileged children… Alam naman nating napakalawak ng pangangailangan ng mga bata, so laging meron at meron tayong magagawa para matulungan at masiguro na magiging maganda ang kanilang kalagayan. Bantay Bata 163 is the child protection arm of the ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya. It has four major projects namely; BB163 Hotline where children can report abuse; Bantay Edukasyon or granting scholarships to both survivors of abuse and/or children in poverty; The Children’s Village – a halfway home where rescued children receive holistic healing and; Bantay Pamilya – the community outreach projects and capacity building training and values formation for parents so they can better raise their children.
