The 40 candidates for this year’s Binibining Pilipinas beauty pageant paid a courtesy visit to the head office of leading telecommunications and digital services provider PLDT Inc. to kick off activities leading to the Coronation Night on June 9.
During the visit, the candidates shared with PLDT executives and employees the different causes close to their hearts. These included women empowerment, mental health, education, sustainable tourism, health and environment, and HIV awareness.
Since 2014, PLDT – through its consumer business group PLDT Home – has supported the various causes and events of Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI), particularly the annual pageant.
