Seth Fedelin, a former Pinoy Big Brother Otso housemate, is currently gaining popularity after being cast as Mikoy in the hit TV series Kadenang Ginto.
This was Seth’s big break after being evicted from the PBB House. He is now part of the group called The Gold Squad with co-stars Andrea Brillantes, Francine Diaz, and Kyle Echarri. He is being paired up with fellow teen star Andrea in the series.
With his rising popularity comes criticisms from netizens.
Seth addressed these negative comments alongside Brillantes, Diaz, and Echarri, on the Gold Squad’s YouTube vlog on Tuesday, July 16. In the video, they hit back at their bashers on social media.
“’Di naman pogi si Seth mukang alien,” went one comment which Fedelin read aloud.
“Alam n’yo, kasi kakaiba ako,” Fedelin responded.
Kyle then defended Seth by asking his bashers if they know what an alien looks like.
Seth also received disapproving remarks about how he speaks English. “Ang pangit ni Seth mag-English, parang lasing,” he read one comment.
“Sa pagpangit ko ng English, marami naman akong napapasaya,” Fedelin shot back.
He also mocked his basher by intentionally speaking in broken English which made the whole group burst into laughter.
The negative comments about the young actor’s looks did not stop there. “Kadiri yung mukha ni Seth, napadaan sa newsfeed ko,” he said.
Fedelin did not allow the comment to get to him. “Mas kadiri kapag napadaan ako sa bahay n’yo,” he responded.
At 17, the actor has already bought his own car and said he is just grateful to be part of the hit afternoon show.
Apart from this, he has an upcoming iWant series with Beauty Gonzalez under Dreamscape Digital titled Abandoned.

According to Dreamscape Digital Head of Content Ethel M. Espiritu, the young actor was cast because of his impressive audition. She wrote, “I was there at the auditions. Please give Seth some credit, kasi in fairness sa kanya, his rawness is an added factor plus he has It. He has potential.”
