STERNA, a mobile app intended for job applications abroad, finally arrives in the Philippines

Many Filipinos wish to go abroad to earn better salaries to provide for the growing needs of the family or to chase after their dreams. But looking for a job overseas is not a one-night application.

From securing yourself a passport to looking for the right agencies, it is a long process before one can seek employment abroad.

Aside from the time-consuming processes, chances that the job you land matches your skills and expertise is low. Ending up with a good employer is not even guaranteed all the time. Unfortunately, some are even victimized by illegal recruiters.

To avoid these problems, the Philippines welcomes an innovative solution that will ease the recruitment process and will bring employers and employees closer with just a few taps on their mobile devices.

Link Asia Manpower Solutions Corporation, a registered land-based recruiting agency in the country, recently made its partnership with STERNA, a mobile application that seeks to ease recruitment methods by replacing the conventional or ‘old school’ way of processing job applications with ICT-based solutions.

This mobile app also helps in eliminating illegal recruiters, therefore, making it more reliable, convenient, and a safe way of landing jobs abroad.

STERNA was launched in Mexico in 2017. A year after, the mobile app was introduced in Colombia. It continued its expansion in Tunisia and Morocco and is now in the Philippines.

With STERNA, it is guaranteed that more Filipinos will be able to find a good job abroad.

Through Link Asia, STERNA will be utilized to connect opportunities from Canada to the Philippines,  through this mobile app. Eventually, the Philippines will be connected to the world, bringing more and suitable jobs to the Filipinos.

The STERNA Mobile App can be downloaded from App Store and Google Play Store.
