The Wowowin studio was full of laughter during its episode last Wednesday, October 23, 2019.
It was when seven-year-old ‘Lyza’ honestly replied to host Willie Revillame’s question about her favorite shows on GMA Network, to which the young contestant admitted that she does not watch the network’s shows often.
Here’s how the conversation of Willie and Lyza went:
Willie: “Ilang taon ka na?”
Lyza: 7 years old po
Instead of feeling disappointed with Lyza’s answer, Willie gave the young contestant the chance to explain why she does not watch GMA shows.
As per Lyza, she was not allowed by her mom to watch TV for long hours.
This is not the first time Willie encountered young contestants who are not afraid of being honest with him.
Last June, a six-year-old young boy ‘Jed’ went viral when he claimed in Wowowin that his favorite actor is Coco Martin while his dance floor idol is Ronnie Alonte. Then he greeted the studio audience with It’s Showtime’s famous tagline: “What’s up madling people!”
Ang batang sumali ng Wowowin pero si “Cardo”, “Ronnie Alonte” at “What’s up madlang people ng Showtime” ang bukambibig. Kakaaliw! Spread the love GMA at ABS CBN. @vicegandako @annecurtissmith @anakarylle pic.twitter.com/K7Ct08dVmr

Young Jed finally met his dance floor idol Ronnie Alonte and finally he was in the right studio to greet the audience with the show’s famous tagline: “What’s up madlang people!”
However, during Wowowin’s Pera o Kahon segment last October 23, Willie was upset when the young and brilliant kids Rojan, Enel, and Lyza was not able to get the Mega Jackpot. It can be seen in the video that the kids consistently choose ‘Kahon’ instead of ‘Pera’. Since they are young, their parents have to decide for them.
When Willie opened the box that had the Mega Jackpot, he explained that he had to be fair to every contestant, even though he really likes to help people through his show.
Luckily, Willie promised to give Php50,000 for each kid aside from the Php80,000.00 that they won during the segment.
