Kapuso actor Ruru Madrid finally released a statement about his alleged quarrel and sideswiping incident with rumored girlfriend Bianca Umali.
Based on some unconfirmed reports, Bianca allegedly sideswiped Ruru with her car last November 5 at the parking lot of SM Megamall. This happened the same day when the film Cara X Jagger starring the Kapuso actor and his leading lady Jasmine Curtis-Smith held its red carpet premiere. Bianca supposedly got jealous of Jasmine for her closeness with Ruru.
Some witnesses narrated that Bianca sarcastically said “Congrats” to the actor in their car which prompted Ruru to chase her afterward. This led to the sideswiping incident which was also witnessed by Ruru’s dad.
While rumors about the incident haven’t stopped, Ruru denied that the reports and refused to comment about it.
“Sa akin better na huwag na lang magcomment kasi nga parang kung magco-coment ako,wala naman kasing nangyari talagang ganun,” he said in an interview with GMA News.
Ruru was also sad about the reports about him and Bianca which gives a bad impression about them.
“Nakakalungkot kasi bakit pa may lumalabas na ganung bagay. Para sa akin hindi na kailangan pang lagyan ng mga… kasi at first may maapektuhan eh.May magmumukhang masama pero wala naman po nangyaring ganun. Para sa akin it’s better huwag na lang pag-usapan.
When asked about their real relationship, the actor then said that he and Bianca still maintain their close relationship and are in constant communication every day.
“Lagi kaming nag-uusap almost everyday tungkol sa kung ano-anong bagay,” he responded.
Bianca’s onscreen partner Miguel Tanfelix also denied rumors about the actress’s relationship with Ruru in previous reports.
“You know show business—lahat puwede kang ma-link diyan. Puwede kang gawan ng issue with someone else. Might as well makipagkaibigan ka sa iba, kesa naman nasa isang corner ka lang,” he expressed.
He also denied having a relationship with her though he tried to court her before.
Bianca has yet to release a statement about the issue.
