ABS-CBN will finally release Gerald Anderson’s comeback TV series in the first quarter of 2020. A Soldier’s Heart is directed by Richard V. Somes.
It is derived from the true stories of our modern heroes today, just like the GMA’s Descendants of the Sun, Gerald’s newest show is filled with action and a love story.
Meanwhile, some of ABS-CBN’s top male stars will also be part of A Soldier’s Heart such as Vince Abrenica, Nash Aguas, Carlo Aquino, Jerome Ponce, Yves Flores, Elmo Magalona, and the only female soldier seen in its first trailer, Sue Ramirez.

Gerald’s last TV project on ABS-CBN was Ikaw Lang ang IIbigin with Coleen Garcia, Jake Cuenca, and ex-girlfriend Kim Chiu which lasted for about eight months.
Gerald’s last TV series garnered 20.1% in TV ratings on its final week based on Kantar Media over its rival show Lola’s Beautiful Show with only 6.7%.
