Kate Valdez and Barbie Forteza’s newest TV series just aired its pilot episode last Monday, January 27, 2020.
During the first episode, Anak Ni Waray Vs. Anak ni Biday showcased the story behind the feud between Sussie (Dina Bonnevie) and Amy (Snooky Serna).
The young Amy (Max Collins) works as a maid for a wealthy Ilocano family residing in Manila, and in return, the Agpangan family paid for Amy’s tuition fees and other school expenses.
In one of the scenes, Mrs. Agpangan portrayed by Pinky Amador maltreated Amy but then Pinky’s daughter Sussie arrived and later on defended Amy against her mother.
Since then, Sussie and Amy became the best of friends. Unfortunately, Amy had to go back to Tacloban to visit her mom. There, Amy met a good-looking guy named Joaquin (Jason Abalos) and unintentionally had a one-night stand with him.
When Amy came back to Manila from Tacloban, she was surprised that Joaquin is actually her best friend’s long-time boyfriend and they are about to get married. Soon enough, Sussie discovered that Amy and her husband are having a secret affair.
