Make It With You cast member Khalil Ramos, who plays Stephen “Sputnik” Perez, expressed his opinion about the ABS-CBN last two months before its franchise expires.
Khalil admitted as much as he wants to know what would be the possible actions if worse comes to worst, he can only hope for the best.
Khalil stated, “Siyempre, napapag-usapan namin with Management, ‘yung information walang masabi sa akin parang as much as I want to know what will eventually happen when the day comes, ‘di ko maiwasan to feel anxious about it.”
According to Khalil, he’s more concerned about the people who are actually in danger of losing their jobs, like the production staff.
He continued, “Hindi lang basta personal ‘yun eh. I know so many people who work in ABS that I actually care for, my friends, co-workers ko, co-actors, the production people that eventually become my friends. There are potentially in danger of losing their jobs, and I feel for them and I really hope we find to compromise, sana it works, kasi maraming ma-apektuhan.”
ABS-CBN only has less than two months before its franchise expiration which has yet to be tackled in Congress.
Based on the report by CNN Philippines, Speaker Alan Cayetano confirmed that Congress will conduct a fair hearing on the giant network’s franchise without mentioning a tentative date on when will it happen.
