Despite not having TV projects, Kris Bernal is truly happy with what’s going on with her life this 2020 so far.
Together with her long-time boyfriend and now fiancée Perry Choi, the Kapuso actress just opened a new branch of their restaurant, House of Gogi.
On February 13, just a day before Valentine’s Day, Kris and Perry held an intimate engagement blessing ceremony, and also formally opened the new branch of their business on Banawe Street, Quezon City.
Their first branch of House of Gogi is situated at Dapitan 55 Lifestyle Complex near D. Tuazon in Quezon City and is really enjoying many customers ever since it opened two years ago.
Some of her friends in showbiz came to support the actress, such as Thea Tolentino, Mikoy Rosales, Analyn Barro, Rita Daniela, Dianne Medina, and Rodjun Cruz.
With a grateful heart, the 30-year old actress thanked everyone who continues to support her and have witnessed one milestone in her life.

She said, “Thank you sa lahat ng suporta and sana happy kayo for me. Kasi alam niyo ang tagal ko na sa industry, 12 o 13 years na ‘ata ako [sa showbiz] pero simula nung nangyari itong engagement, doon ko naramdaman na ‘oh my gosh! in fairness sa ‘kin ano ha…marami palang nagmamahal, maraming nag-ke-care.’
“Tumaas ‘yung engagement ng social media accounts ko. Na-curious siguro sila kung ano’ng nangyari sa ‘kin, sino ako. So, parang ‘wow, love pa rin talaga ako ng mga tao.’ So, maraming, maraming salamat po sa suporta,” the Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko star added.
Aside from the House of Gogi, Kris has another business, the Meat Kris, which is a burger joint she opened in 2016. She also joined the roster of celebrities like Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis who have their own makeup brand. SHE Cosmetics made its grand launch last year.

In her previous interviews, the Starstruck 6 winner shared that she met Perry way back when she was just starting her first Meat Kris burger stall. He was in the meat distribution business, and that’s how they got to know each other. Perry comes from a Chinese family. He also have his own business. Interesting fact, he’s seven years older than Kris.
The couple has been together for more than two years now, and on February 6, 2020, Perry and Kris engaged.
