- Aljur Abrenica and Ejay Falcon’s afternoon series ‘Sandugo‘ is down to its last two weeks
- This is Maricel’s first afternoon series.
On March 06, 2020, a teaser announced that ABS-CBN afternoon show ‘Sandugo‘ of Aljur Abrenica and Ejay Falcon was down to its last two weeks, with the finale airing on March 20.
As to its possible replacement, ABS-CBN released an online teaser of their upcoming series starring Maricel Soriano, Iza Calzado, Jodi Sta. Maria, and Sam Milby entitled Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin.
The teaser showed different scenes of Maricel with Jodi and Lito Pimentel as Maricel’s character can be heard saying, “Tagumpay ba ang susukat sa kaligayahan mo? O kaligayahan ang susukat sa tagumpay mo?”
ABS-CBN network first announced the series—then still titled “What Matters Most—in January 2020 when the lead stars attended the show’s story conference.
This will be Maricel’s first afternoon series and will go up against GMA Network’s ‘Bilangin Ang Bituin Sa Langit‘ which is the current rival program of ‘SanDugo’.

‘Bilangin na Bituin Sa Langit’ is a remake of a 1989 Nora Aunor movie. Her afternoon series is currently winning in ratings in its timeslot.
