- The Mocha Uson Blog has started a demolition job on Mayor Sotto.
The #ProtectVico trended on Twitter after a number of celebrities and social media personalities tweeted their sentiments about the offensive attacks against the Pasig City Mayor.
On Thursday, March 19, government propagandists, led by Mocha Uson Blog, started attacking the mayor and his efforts to run the city within the constraints of the enhanced community quarantine.

Netizens especially celebrities, however, immediately jumped in to defend Vico from the malicious and vicious attacks from the troll farms.
Twitter influencer and known Mocha slayer Ethel Booba immediately called out the post saying it’s better to be pabebe than pabobo.

Ethel also defended Sotto’s initiative to use tricycles to transport medical personnel and constituents for emergency medical needs.

Film director Tonette Jadaone meanwhile slammed efforts to discredit Sotto.

Mayor Sotto has drawn so much attention after making initiatives in implementing the enhanced community quarantine.
This included purchasing food packs that will be delivered to his constituent’s homes which was done with utmost transparency.

With all those stellar accomplishments, Sotto may have touched the nerves of some politicians which warranted the attacks against him.
But what’s good about the Pasig City Mayor is his humility to highlight the contributions of all the government workers of Pasig.
“Kung ano man ang magandang nagagawa ko, dahil ito sa mga kawaning kasama ko sa paglilingkod. sila ‘yung madalas hindi napapansin, hindi napapasalamatan,” said Mayor Vico.
