Amidst the pandemic, Kapuso comedienne and actress Ai-Ai delas Alas shared how she prays for President Rodrigo Duterte especially since he is expected to announce a decision about the enhanced community quarantine.
On her Instagram account, Ai-Ai posted an edited photo which showed Presidente Duterte walking with the Lord while holding a Philippine flag with a caption,
“O Lord, please walk one step ahead of him… guide his steps… light his way… pull him out of darkness… enlighten him and his advisers so that, together, THEY ARE ABLE TO MAKE THE RIGHT DECISIONS FOR THE GOOD OF OUR COUNTRY.”

Ai-Ai is an avid supporter of Duterte even before he became president. She was there when Malacañang Palace hosted a private dinner organized for celebrities who supported President Duterte since the 2016 elections and until today.
Among the artists who were invited to the gathering were Ai-Ai, Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez, Robin Padilla, Cesar Montano, Phillip Salvador, Aiko Melendez, and Vhong Navarro
Other than prayers, Ai-Ai extended her support to the frontliners by making face shields. In an Instagram post, she mentioned that her first project with her Viber group was making face shields.

Also, Ai-Ai urges the public to be productive instead politicking in this time of the pandemic. She posted on her Instagram account a screenshot of an article where she was featured,
