Recently, BB Gandanghari had a live session on her Instagram account and this gave fans the opportunity to ask on what is the status of his relationship with former wife Carmina Villarroel.
BB happily shared that she and her ex-wife are not on bad terms, “Hindi ko alam kung ano ang ibig mong sabihin na ‘in good terms’ but, we’re definitely not in bad terms.”
BB even shared that Carmina introduced her to her Cassy and Mavy, “The last time I saw her, we were very civil and cordial. In fact, they were very nice to me. Ipinakilala nila sa akin ‘yung mga anak nila but it was a simple ‘hi’ and ‘hello.”
But BB said that she still can’t consider their relationship as friends.
“I can’t say that we’re friends kasi we haven’t talked in a long time to rediscover each other in that sense.”
BB also couldn’t help but feel emotional about missing her old self as Rustom Padilla.
BB even addressed her previous self as her ‘twin’ who is older than her, “Babalikan natin ang aking kambal, si Kuya Rustom, mas matanda sa akin yun, e. Na-late ako ng 30 years.”
But despite reminiscing who he was before she does not regret the decision to be true to herself.
“Don’t get me wrong. Wala akong gusto balikan. Ang sinasabi ko lang, that guy is a good guy…”
In 1994, BB Gandanghari, once known as Rustom Padilla, was married to Carmina Villarroel. It was in Pinoy Big Brother: Balikbahay, where Rustom revealed her real identity to Keanna Reeves and this revelation went viral, they separated in 1997 but were divorced legally in 2002.
