As the Philippines is trying to cope with the enhanced community quarantine while fighting the pandemic COVID-19 disease that originated from Wuhan, China, Bossa Nova Diva Sitti Navarro hopes that the government would stop corruption and make sure the money goes to helping Filipinos in this trying time.
If corruption continues, the daily wage earner and informal settlers would be the most affected families during the enhanced community quarantine.

In another tweet, Sitti asked netizens if they have received relief goods from the government. Sitti’s house helpers recently informed her that relief goods seem to be ideal for a family of two, as it only consists of 2 kilos of rice and 2 canned goods, which can only last for roughly two days, contrary to what government is claiming that the relief goods they are distributing are good for 2 weeks.

The Bayanihan to Heal as One Act was signed into law on March 24, 2020 to allow President Rodrigo Duterte to fully exercise special powers to fight the pandemic disease COVID-19. But, as of this writing, netizens have yet to receive the promised Php5,000.000 to Php8,000.00 financial help from the allotted P209.907 billion.
The initial report of Malacanang submitted to the Congress seems to be incomplete which is why Senator Ping Lacson and Senator Franklin Drilon required the President to come up with an action plan that will aid both health and economy aspect of the Philippines and not just a cursory report.
