Kathryn Bernardo recently became the target of trolls and bashers who bullied her for being bowlegged.
This was after the actress expressed her sentiments on the forced shutdown of ABS-CBN.
But instead of shrinking back from the bashing, Kathryn addressed her bashers and their mean comments in a vlog on her YouTube account.
“Na-realize ko lahat tayo [may] imperfections so siguro nagkataon sa’kin binigay ni God ‘yong legs ko,” ani Bernardo. “Hindi naman ako makukulong sa pagkasakang ko.”
She also admitted that the word “sakang” had been one of her biggest insecurities before, but with boyfriend Daniel Padilla’s help, she was able to cope with her insecurity.
“Over the years, natutunan kong tanggapin ‘yong legs ko… wala eh parte siya ng pagkatao and before, sobrang insecurity ko ito.”
It was then revealed that her boyfriend Daniel was behind the leap that she took to conquer her insecurity.
“Pero alam niyo kung sino ang nag pa realize sa akin ‘wag ma insecure? Si DJ. So through DJ, na overcome ko yung insecurity ko about my legs.”
“Ngayon kahit anong tayo ko ganyan. Kase na realize ko lahat tayo may imperfections.”
“Bakit ko inalis ‘yong comments section sa Instagram? Kasi feel ko grabe ‘yong negative energy, ang daming time talaga ng bashers.”
But now the Blockbuster Queen is not even bothered by these harsh comments anymore, “But ngayon talaga hindi na ako no-bother.”
“So siguro nagkataon sa akin because binigay sa akin ni God yung legs ko. Anong gagawin ko? Eh, di nagwo work out para ma exercise siya.”
Proudly accepting her legs the actress concluded her video by addressing her bashers.
“And tatanggapin ko kasi hello ‘di naman ako makukulong sa pagka sakang ko no?”
“So, I love my legs and si DJ love din legs ko so c’mon you kiss my f*cking legs.”
Kathryn remains on top of her game with her film ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye‘ with Alden Richards still remaining the highest-grossing Filipino film.
The actress also has a very good heart, quietly helping those who are in need, especially in this time of pandemic.
