Kapamilya stars Nikki Valdez and Zsa Zsa Padilla joined other celebrities who slammed Deputy Director of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Mocha Uson for tagging activists as terrorists amid calls to junk Anti-Terror Bill.
Through her Twitter account, the 41-year-old Valdez took a swipe at the National Bureau of Investigation’s probe against fake news queen Uson who still keeps spreading unverified and wrong information on social media.
Valdez wrote, “Ano na ba nangyari sa pagpoprobe ng NBI dito?! Don’t tell me ‘honest mistake’ nanaman ang pagsabi mo ng terorista???”

Padilla also expressed her opinion regarding Uson’s impulsiveness on political matters.
She said, “Eto na nga ba. Pinatutoo mo lang ang pangamba ng marami.”
Padilla advised Uson to be careful with what she says or posts since she’s a government official.

Aside from Valdez and Padilla, celebrities such as K Brosas and Gretchen Ho also hit at Uson’s irresponsible tweet.

On Thursday, amid the growing resistance to the anti-terror bill because of the fears that it may be abused by the government as a weapon against its critics and opposition, Uson was blasted by netizens for calling anti-terrorism bill protesters as ‘terrorists,’ which proved the protestors’ worries to be true.
In a now-deleted tweet, Mocha tagged those who went to the UP rally as terrorists after retweeting Senate President Tito Sotto’s statement saying people should not worry about the anti-terror bill because no one will ever equate activism to terrorism.
The anti-terror bill has been met with rage and resistance from netizens after the House of Representatives passed it on third and final reading.
While the bill aimed to address the country’s problems on state terrorism, there are poorly worded provisions on the bill that is feared could be used as weapons against legitimate dissenters and critics of the government.
